1. Who was your favorite character and why? Which character did you dislike most throughout the story and why?
Hassan is my favorite character because, he is a true friend.
There was moments were I was very upset, because he was way to nice and very kind to people who didn't deserve it. Hassan, I believe he has been through alot, he was always being bullied by people, the same people he served and helped.

2.Which characters change as the story proceeds? Do they change for the better or the worse?
Amir, changes for worse, he is selfish, and mean to people who have Respect for him, specially with Hassan when he is being bullied and hurt he just stares or get away from the situation. He has always been more than what he's not, like trying to get attencion from his father, Baba.

3.Which is your most favorite scene in the book? In the movie?
The kite contest...wow that part of the book, for me was very real. I felt like i was flying the kite. I love this part. I was so nervous and scared to know how was going to win, but of course i was confident he was going to win. I was happy for Amir he had won, that's when he'd run to his father, and was loved for once...but at the end he is a bad little kid.

4.What is the theme of the novel? What do you think was the message the author was trying to convey by writing this book?
For me is family, friendship. I think he was trying to tell a little of his life, the way he lived, or the things he had seen. The conflicts he'd went through.

Should Marine Mammals be kept in captivity?

How would you feel if you were being kept in a place
were you didn't want to be in?

I don't think Marine Mammals should be kept in captivity, because Marine Mammals naturally live in the ocean, they travel long distances and dive much deeper than being trapped in a tank. Marine Mammals have much more freedom in the ocean and they have bond with their families and other marine mammals. Mammals are naturally social, they are wonderful creatures, but just like other living animal or species have to be free.

My three Reasons:

They have more freedom when they aren't captured.

They are separated from their families.

They deserve to live in their natural habitat.

My conclusion:
Think about yourself....how would you feel if someone has you trapped in a place were you don't want to be in? I am pretty sure you wouldn't feel happy. Everyone
has the right to be free including animals.

Rihanna (Domestic Violence)

I think Rihanna makes bad choices,i think she chose to be with him because she loves him so much, but again a woman should never be touched or be a victim of DV..Chris B,is an immature kid thats all i have to say about him. Rihanna should make better desicions for her own not for others. She is beutiful, she can get something better if she wants to.i don't know i am so sad about this whole situation it's hard. DV can happen to anyone we should be able to stop it from the biggining.

Luciano Miranda Mendez
June 30, 1960 - October 11, 2000

Luciano Miranda, was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. On June 30, 1960. Luciano married my mother Martha Guerrero and had seven children . My dad lived in Mississippi for years, he would visit us once in a whil . I just remember seeing him the last three years of his life. My father was diagnosed with cancer in 1999. The last year he was with us it was just terrible I was scared , I wasn’t brave enough to talk to him, to tell him that I loved him. I do regret being scared of so many things I didn’t do when he was alive and healthy, but little did I know, it was too late.
My father was a happy, positive, and optimistic person. He was always happy, I admire my daddy for so many things, specially when he would sit down with me and study my multiplication table. I just love him, he was everything a father could possibly do for their child.. There’s times where I wish I could go back in time to tell him how much I love him , and how much I appreciated he’s time, but I know that is impossible.
